Multi Tags (66 × 176 cm) is an original large-scale spray painting on canvas by Richard Mirando, known globally as SEEN, the graffiti writer.
Measuring 176 centimetres in width and 66.2 centimetres in height, this canvas develops the panoramic subway-train format into a commanding wall piece. It gathers a dense, multi-layered accumulation of tags executed with freehand spray cans in saturated primary and secondary tones, recreating the visual energy of a saturated New York transit surface inside a refined studio medium.
SEEN started painting New York City subway trains in 1973 at just twelve years old, quickly rising as a founding leader of the United Artists crew. His pioneering contribution to global street culture is documented as historical fact in the foundational book Subway Art and the classic documentary Style Wars.
