Multi Tags (40 × 174 cm) is an original spray on canvas executed in 2020 by Richard Mirando, known internationally as SEEN, the graffiti writer.

At 174 centimetres wide and 40 centimetres high, the canvas deliberately carries the elongated proportions of a New York subway car—the exact architectural surface for which this visual language was originally developed. The composition presents an intense, layered accumulation of multi-colored hand tags, applied until individual tags merge into a continuous, vibrant field reminiscent of an authentic city wall.

Widely recognized as the “Godfather of Graffiti,” SEEN began painting trains in the Bronx in 1973 at the age of twelve. A prominent figure of the United Artists crew, his work forms the central historical record in landmark publications such as Subway Art and the film Style Wars.
