Jardim dos Sonhos (Garden of Dreams) is an archival giclée print of one of Ritchelly Oliveira’s garden works. A woman’s face, eyes closed and head tilted back, surfaces from a dense mass of blown peonies and roses, half held by the flowers and half disappearing into them, above a pale shirt embroidered with blossoms.
Oliveira draws in charcoal with a control that is regularly mistaken for photography, then leaves passages deliberately unresolved so the illusion never quite closes. This edition reproduces that surface with archival pigment inks on paper, keeping the contrast between the finished face and the softly dissolving flowers.
